  • Tickets

Even if you didn’t get an early bird day-ticket, chances are still very good to get tickets, especially for the afternoon events, right at the door. Apart from the events in the Depots of the Schauspiel there are various workshops and exhibitions in the Foyer and Open Space that are not ticketed and great for networking. We’re looking forward to seeing you!

  • Good to know

Where can I get my ribbon?

Please exchange your ticket for a ribbon at the ticket office first thing when you arrive. The ribbons are colour-coded for each day. You can only enter Depots 1 and 2 when wearing the correct ribbon.

When do doors open and what happens when I’m running late?

Doors open 20minutes prior the the start of each event in Depots 1 and 2. Everyone with a valid ribbon will enter first. If there are free seats, everyone without a ribbon can buy a single ticket for that specific event at the door (€5/€3, please have your change ready;)) So: make sure you’re on time and stand in the right queue!

After an event has started no one will be able to enter Depots 1 and 2.

I want to follow an event from inside Depot 1 for a change and not just follow the transmission in Depot 2 all the time. What can I do?

We would like to ask all visitors to watch events from Depot 1 and 2 alternately so that everyone has a chance to follow an event from Depot 1. We’d like to ask for your understanding that some seats in Depot 1 will always be reserved for press and those affected and hurt by the NSU.

    Are all rooms accessible?

All rooms of the Schauspiel in Cologne on the grounds of Carlswerk are accessible. (Foyer, Depots 1 and 2, Workshop, Child care, Open Space). Please enquire about accessibility of workshops at other locations by e-mailing koeln@nsu-tribunal.de

    Will there be child care?

We offer child care during the main parts of the programme, which correspond to

    Wednesday 7-10pm

    Thursday 2-10.30pm

    Friday 4-10.30pm

    Saturday 2-10.30pm

Please let us know if you require child care by e-mailing

    kinderbetreuung@nsu-tribunal.de

Child care will be located on the grounds of the Carlswerk,

in the Yoga/Ensemble Room (see map LINK!)

Can I take photographs or make videos?

We want the Tribunal to be a place where everyone, and those affected and hurt by the NSU-terror in particular, can speak in a protected and congenial atmosphere. Please respect this and do not take photographs or make videos during the events. If you are a journalist and would like to make videos or take photographs, please contact the media team at media@nsu-tribunal.de to find out under which circumstances this is possible. Press photographs will be made available.

How can I listen to the interpretation sound-tracks via radio?

The events in Depots 1 and 2 are interpreted simultaneously into Turkish, German and English. You will be able to receive these sound-tracks via fm-radio in the Depots and in direct vicinity of the Schauspiel. The specific frequencies for each language will be written on notice boards on site.

You can bring your own headphones mobile device with radio capability to listen to the interpreted sound-tracks. If you don’t have one: you can collect radios and headphones at the ticket office. We kindly ask that you deposit ID or your driver’s license to make sure we get all of the equipment back.

Are the food and drinks at the Tribunal?

Yes. Gastronomy will be taken care of by the restaurant „Offenbach am Carlsgarten“ (see https://www.schauspiel.koeln/haus/gastronomie/ for details.) Keupstreet is in direct vicinity (a 2min. walk) from the Schauspiel where you can find numerous restaurants, kiosks and snack bars.

Is there a possibility to withdraw from the hubbub and just chill?

The wonderful Carlsgarden is located just in front of Depots 1 and 2. There will also be an Open Space where you can take a seat, relax and chat. Further infos on site.
